Pita My Shawarma

This is one of my favorite places in the city! There are always nice, friendly people behind the counter and the FLAVORS are incredible. The chicken shawarma is my favorite, but the bowls are really yummy too! Also their hummus... to die for! So glad Pittsburgh gets to have this business!

It took me entirely too long to try Pita my Shawarma. The food is simple, fresh, and perfectly executed. Zoran (I’m sorry if I screwed the spelling up) is a delight and made me laugh the whole time I waited for my lunch. Try these guys out as soon as possible you won’t regret it.

One of the best if not the best pitas I've ever had the pleasure of inserting into my mouth. I had the chicken pita and it was a mouthful bursting with flavor. I will definitely be going back for more. Also, check out the cheese sticks. Very different with spices and a different type of breading. Very good!

Fast, friendly, and most importantly - tastes great. I'm a bigger fan of rice bowls vs. pitas and the rice bowls here are fantastic. The ingredients are well balanced and this is one of the few places in the area that actually stacks sliced meat on a roasting spit - vs. the processed meat log a lot of other places used. It's a world of difference and this place does it right.

Ordered a chicken shawarma and a rice bowl today. Probably the 10th time we’ve had their food, and it’s been amazing every time. Will always come back here every time we’re in Lawrenceville.
