It is so wonderful to have the real Pinskers back. The new owners have made it a Judaica store again. We really needed this in Pittsburgh.
So much inventory to choose from. Owner very pleasant, extremely helpful. Wonderful resource!
Cafe took over a lot of Judaism items that used to be there. When my now 17 yr old came for his Bar Mitzvah talis there were many more options than when I brought my triplets last Sunday to look for their's for their upcoming B'nai Mitzvah.
I did not eat there - I miss all of the books they used to have. I knew that they were re-purposing the space. I was just very surprised that most of the judaica was gone and that the restaurant took over almost all of the space.
*Edit* - not sure what this response here from Pinskers is about. I only see that I posted 1 review. And I am also not sure what response I received other then what was posted here just now. Am I being mixed up with someone else?
Staff extremely knowledgeable, at least as far as this goy could tell. Was able to answer all my questions regarding a Book of Torah for an orthodox friend.
Only complaint would be the poor selection in stock during my visit, but that was apparently due to the owner being in the process of opening a restaurant next door.
