The food tasted very good. I had the chicken and shrimp
This place isn’t bad, but it’s nothing to write home about - which means the generally overpriced menu stings a bit. Don’t get me wrong, there’s good stuff here, but the selection is inconsistent. I had a perfectly decent Pad Thai but my date’s Eggplant with Shrimp was agreed to be underwhelming for the $16 price point. There are at least a couple more interesting dining options along this stretch of road for a similar price.
I'll be honest, this place is going to spoil me for Chinese restaurants back home. Maybe because they're in a big city, I don't know, but they obviously hold themselves to a high standard with their food. I got cold sesame noodles and vegetable tofu soup (lunchtime) and both were just absolutely delicious! Plus, the food was ready very quickly and the woman at the counter was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place. I wish I lived closer to Pittsburgh so I could get their food all the time!
Crab rangoons were REALLY good, although I thought it strange that no dipping sauce came with them. Egg rolls were nice and crispy, but a bit bland. Pad Thai with chicken wasn't good. It wasn't very spicy (I asked for medium spice), the sauce had way too much soy sauce, and the chicken was chewy. All in all, I probably won't be back. There are several better options for this type of cuisine.
Absolutely delicious! Brought my family from out of town and they were blown away by how good the food was. Can't wait to visit again.
