Sesame Inn

We haven't gone to Sesame Inn for a while. Not sure why, but some of that may be because it's harder to get to than some of the other choices.

But, hands down, this place is exceptional. A very tasty brown sauce bathed my Capital Chicken, perfectly fried chicken breast pieces along with vegetables. The menu said it was spicy. Eh, maybe spicier than other options (my wife had mooshu, which was positively sweet) but I'm looking forward to having what I couldn't eat the night before for lunch.

And yes, there's brown rice if you want it. I was late to ask, and yet the very attentive waitress quickly exchanged the steamed white rice with a serving for each of us (even with the mooshu). This may be our go-to place now. Meals were very moderately priced, despite the upscale decor (although the view onto the parking lot isn't all that scenic).

There are also sushi and Thai options available. One can't do much better than this.

Dined here tonight and the food, service and ambiance were exceptional! Our waiter, Nick, was the best. We'll DEFINITELY return.

First time going and I enjoyed it. We sat in the back which was nice and quiet. The server was nice too.

Food was good and reasonably priced. Service was great. The go to spot for Chinese in the North Hills.

We love the Sesame Inn on Brown's Lane in Pittsburgh. Our favorite dish is their Amazing Chicken. Their shrimp egg rolls are the best! We go there as often as possible when we're in the Pittsburgh area.
