Island Spice Caribbean Restaurant

My wife brought this home tonight. Jerk shrimp and curry chicken. This place is awesome! Spices are incredible. Incredible taste and quality. Go here - I'm so glad this is here. I'll be back soon

By far the Jamaican restaurant with the most variety in Pittsburgh! It was so hard to decide what to get because I'm not used to having all these options in Pittsburgh. The place is clean, bright and spacious. The customer service is exceptional. This will be my new spot!

I have never ate Jamaican food before, so I was a little hesitant to try the spicy stuff, so we decided to try the Red Snapper after reading some of the reviews, my daughter likes it deep fried, and it was perfect! Tender and moist, with simple breading so the full fish flavor came thru! The Chef cooked it head on to her delight, she can't get it that way too many places. I had Chicken Alfredo, which was awesome, and the serving was big enough for 3 people! We also had Plantains, and shared a Beef Patty, which was new to me. Everything was great, fresh and tasty! Next time we will try some of the "Jerk" dishes, they look great too!

The fish was moist, very tasty and there was enough for two meals. The chicken was outstanding! It came with a nice spicy sauce and was very tender and cooked to perfection. Plantains, sautéed cabbage and rice and beans rounded out this wonderful meal!
We will be back!
