Missing Lebanese and Turkish food, we did a Yelp search to see if there was anything around us. This place popped up, and we'd never heard of it, despite living in the area for quite awhile. (Apparently they've been open about 18 months).
Anyway we had to have the hummus and grape leaves to start, then I had the beef shawarma and the better half had lamb kebab over rice.
Service was very quick and friendly, but we were surprised by the meals when we got them. The description of the kebabs included veggies, but none come with the dish, just with the sandwich. Mine also came in a dish, which surprised me as it wasn't on the menu and not how you typically get shawarma. We asked afterwards and they explained that the kebab dish didn't include veggies, but you can ask! Because we ordered kebab as a dish, they thought I wanted a dish also. Anyway, next time we will know.
We finished off with baklava, almost as good as mom's, and rose baklava, with pistachios. Very tasty and the coffee was tempting but I want to sleep tonight.
Great food and gracious owners. Lots of takeout options as well. Best hummus around (of course) but also try dishes like octopus!
Excellent small Lebanese restaurant. The owners are extremely nice. Our children love the babaganouj. But everything we've had is good. A really great hidden jem in downtown sewickley
Very good, a little on the high side but worth it. Spinach pie delicious even though it was heated in microwave. Lamb very nicely seasoned and very tender
We have eaten here about three times. The service was friendly and reasonably quick. The food was OK, but some items seemed a bit dry and not very highly seasoned. I know some may like the mild seasoning. Other things were a bit cold which we felt should have been warmer. The prices were reasonable. It's worth trying, then see if you might like it or not.
