“We were looking for a lunch place after leaving Kalahari. This was one of the only non fast-food places around. It was surprisingly awesome! It's mostly a bar, but had plenty of regular seating. They have a great kids menu and my husband and I had delicious wraps. The mac and cheese was homemade and very good, as were the fries. The place looked new and was very clean! Definitely a good stop if you find yourself in the area. We were beyond happy with The Hang Out!”

“We are playing the South and North course again this Tuesday. From the very beginning when it was only nine holes and Laura was the Pro we enjoyed playing the nine holes. “Came in about an hour before they were closing to find the place empty. We sat ourselves and within a few minutes we had a server helping us out. We ordered, we served, ate, and checked out all within 35-40 minutes. The food and staff were great. While we were there there were three staff members working diligently on 'spring cleaning'. They were painting furniture, sweeping, and mopping the outside deck. Place already looked great. I'm sure no one will disagree this summer ahead.”

“Yo, Nick's has righteous nachos. Who would've guessed that? Great place with reasonably priced food and drinks. Relaxed atmosphere and a bit more upscale for than the other local place, but relaxed enough to show up in ski gear. The kitchen accommodated is with a child's portion of steak. Pizza was excellent. Drinks are good, but they might not have your preferred brand of bourbon and such. Their Old Fashioned has a lot of fruit in it which isn't my favorite, but it was still good with bulleit bourbon.”

“After googling restaurants during our stay in the Poconos, we found Louie’s. The reviews lived up to their hype. One of the best steak dinners I’ve ever had. Steak cooked to perfection. Lobster tail was phenomenal. Also, chocolate peanut butter pie was a great dessert to end the dinner. Nice surprise to find this caliber restaurant in the middle of the mountains.”
