Bonfire Old Fashioned BBQ

Bonfire BBQ was recommend as a caterer for a banquet our organization was hosting. We chose the grilled chicken to be the main dish at the pot luck event. The chicken was AMAZING and everyone was very complimentary of it! Juicy, great grilled flavor, and the perfect-sized portion.The BBQ sauce that was provided on the side was excellent, and they even provided serving utensils! Andrea was great to work with and I already have Bonfire booked for another upcoming banquet. So glad we gave them a try! I plan to stop by soon to enjoy a meal at their restaurant personally.

Just fantastic BBQ. Picked up a catering order before a football weekend and the food was a huge hit. Everyone wanted seconds. Only thing that was average was the potato salad, everything else we absolutely loved - pulled pork, brisket, chicken, Mac & cheese and green beans. Corn bread paired perfect with it all.

Caution: wear your stretchy pants when you come here because you are going to want to try everything!

We both ordered the brisket sandwich. I got mash potatoes for a side and my husband got fries.
The brisket is the BEST brisket we (both of us) have ever had. We are from Canada’s brisket capital and this was the absolute best brisket - your taste buds will thank you!
My mash potatoes were super creamy, so yummy. My husband’s fries were crispy and tasty - hitting the spot!
We also ordered a side of mac and cheese, we are Canadian (Canada eats more Mac and cheese than any other country). This Mac and cheese was creamy and exactly what you want when you are thinking of having a Mac and cheese. Order it. Just try it. You will thank yourself for this treat!
The staff brought us samples of the chili mac and cheese, the ghost pepper bbq sauce, AND the cornbread dessert with custard and strawberry sauce!

The ghost pepper sauce has this incredible balance of hot and sweet without being overwhelming. (Dipping Mac and cheese in this was amazing too - soooo tasty!)
The cornbread with custard and strawberry sauce is a must order! This one blew my mind, my taste buds are in heaven! This is the BEST way to finish your meal.
This restaurant was immaculately clean, all the surfaces were clean, the washrooms were clean, everything was immaculate levels of clean.

Delicious chili Mac n cheese and tasty beef and cheddar sandwiches! The staff is extremely friendly, and Josh is very sweet! Our waitress, Ciara, was super friendly! The owner, Andrea is a very nice person as well!

My husband and i have driven by the place a few times and have talked about giving it a try.. we shouldn't have waited so long! Really delicious food.. tons of flavor. We got the brisket entree and the pulled chicken entree, both come with your choice of two sides. Chili Mac was awesome and the garlic mashed potatoes were SO yummy. Steak fries were a good choice too. If you like spicy you need to try the ghost hot sauce. We were really happy with everything, including the huge portions (each have another meal) and the friendly service. We'll be back . They cater too! Psu tailgates are right around the corner. 😊
