I highly recommend going here to eat. They have delicious food and friendly staff. I had the pulled pork plate. It comes with 2 sides. I love the pepper jack Mac and cheese and the scalloped potatoes. Also comes with a corn bread biscuit with a sweet butter. The price is really good for what you get, and it didn't take long to come to our table either! iAll in all I will definitely be back.

First time here and I thought it was great! I’ve wanted to try this place since it came back to Happy Valley. The salad was big and very filling. I couldn’t even finish it before I was full! The staff were very nice and welcoming! It was super clean and looked very nice! I’m glad my mom chose here for our mother/daughter night!

We were a party of 20, coming in on a Friday night, and Prospectors handled us great! We called ahead by 15 minutes and they had a long table waiting for us. As a Texan girl, I thought the brisket was good. My salad was nice and fresh with crisp lettuce and I cleared my plate. The sift serve ice cream was an added treat.

    One word: WOW.
Absolutely delicious food! The sides are made in-house (at least the ones we had for sure). Best baked beans I’ve had in a long time. The pulled pork almost melts in your mouth. The brisket was a tad dry for my taste, but still had a delicious flavor! The soups are made in house (pictured is their roasted chicken corn chowder). Corn bread (served with honey butter) was just as cornbread should be! Several yummy sauces to choose from as well.
Staff was extremely polite & helpful. There also seemed to be a great comradery between the staff.
Venue: country, but charming ☺️a comfortable- pig out as much as you want- vibe. The dining area was very clean. The bathrooms were also very clean, and obviously freshened up often.

Hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Everything is amazing. Even the sides are to die for. If you’re going in for lunch, I’d recommend going early- it gets busy fast! The staff is super helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere is great. Better than anything I’ve had in Pittsburgh. 10/10 would recommend.
