Happy Valley Brewing Company

I've been to dozens on microbrews and this is one of my favorites. It is in State College, so certain days, especially football games could cause for negative reviews with service due to being crowded. Their beer is top notch and the few things i tried from the menu were very good. Especially the salmon BLT. It sounds gross but you must try it. I've been here several times and never received less than a 5 star experience.

Delicious food. Horseradish mashed potatoes is off the charts!! Our server Ellie was amazing! She kept our glasses full and our tummies happy!

4 adults and a couple of toddlers will get automatic gratuity added and the server does not really seemed to care about serving the kids (yes they need water, yes they need plates). The checks were split completely incorrectly. Food and beer are good.

We tried a number of the beers and some were not to our taste. Love the IPA. Best tuna melt in the history of tuna melts (the salesman). The bread is incredible, and its stuffed with tuna, cheese, greens, and tomatoes, and drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Very much worth a try. The homemade chips are also very good.

They had live music yesterday and it was pleasant. Well, I love country music and that was the kind playing yesterday night.

I ordered the beef ribs in BBQ sauce and they were delicious. They are NOT slow cooked but, if they would, they would be yummy.

My husband got a a spinach and beets salad.

I like their wines. Very into ONE.

I quite did not understand the concept of the chocolate mousse. It was a liquid mix of chocolate.
