Kamrai Thai&Sushi House

Super delicious. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Pineapple fried rice and takoyaki is the bomb. The pad Thai was also pretty good. The crispy duck which was my main entree was alright. I think having sauce on the side or poured right before serving would’ve helped with having the duck crispy rather than soggy when it was brought out. Still enjoyed the flavors though!

Great Thai food. If you love sushi with 3+ ingredients in it this is your place for great sushi. The curries and salads are great and the service is quick. Worth the wait for dine in but they have take out too!

Solid Thai fare in a super convenient location in Lemont. Have only gotten take out, but the place looks like it has great ambiance and would have a cozy dining experience. Nice staff.

Sushi: best sushi in town, hands down. Will update post when I try out their Thai menu, but the dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen looked great.

Service: sub par. Not efficiently run, so wait times are longer than for a well-organized restaurant. Service was slow: slow to get drink order, slow to refill waters, slow to get check. Empty tables were all around while people waited in the lobby to get seated.

Environment: could go 50/50. We were there on a fairly cool day, but it was hot and stuffy in the main seating area. Granted, it’s an old building, but still. Also, going to the bathrooms, the floor was surprisingly sticky when you are off the carpet. Gross!

Overall: the food trumps all, and it was phenomenal. Would go again, or maybe even prefer some takeout.
