“Excellent food... Loved the chicken... Don't get me wrong but a one hour wait for 3 to-go dinners doesn't seem worth it. And... It was 100+degrees in there that day.”

“The Super Mario group would like to thank you for donating the three platters for our event! This helped feed all the children and parents who participated and really helped us succeed! Our participants and staff really enjoyed the chicken that some of us have never had before. We wish you of best luck and thank you again for donating! :)”

“Just love it! The best spot in Happy valley you can have lunch at. They have tons of options. Just be careful they are very crowded during rush hours and may be lacking some of the ingredients like avocado. You might also want to keep an eye for sauces too. They are very generous and sometimes too generous :).”

“Surprisedly tasted even better than the other more POPULAR spicy Chinese restaurant nearby! Consider here one of the best Chinese restaurants in town! Highly recommend it !”

“Good service and great ice cream. Got an ice cream cake for a friend's birthday and couldn't get it online so the staff helped me through the phone. Everyone loved the cake and it was more than enough for everyone.”

“Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious. Ordered The Brother sandwich that came between green plantains rather than bread, and yuca (cassava/manioc) fries on the side. Only complaint was that they charged 25 cents each for lettuce and tomato and I was not informed that these would cost extra until I got the receipt.”

“We went on a Sunday around 5pm. Food was delicious, service was great...but I agree with the other reviewers about the music. Way too loud. I can only imagine how loud it would be in there with more people too. The other thing I don’t understand is the French fry selection. If you want fresh cut you need to ask for that specifically. I’m not sure what the regular fries are like, but we were told the fresh cut were crunchier. We ordered those and some were crunchy but most were just normally cooked. The price is the same too, so why not just offer fresh cut? Overall we had a nice experience and will be back.”

“I'm so excited this popped up in town! I work downtown, so I'm always in need of some lunch options. I heard this place had burgers, so I placed an order for myself and some of my coworkers online. The process was super convenient, and when I got there I was directed to wait in the little takeout/pickup area off to the side. My order was ready before the time promised, and since it was opening day I even won some goodies for myself (: I walked out fairly quick with my order as I was in a rush, but got a call shortly after. They'd accidentally forgotten one of my burgers (completely understandable, opening day and all) and let me know to come back right away. I stopped back and grabbed my burger and they handed me a gift card for my "trouble!" The food was absolutely delicious, and fair priced for the area. I'm blown away by the friendliness and customer service here -- I'll definitely be back! edit: I forgot to mention, how nice is the water bottle filling station? I love the attention to detail (:”

“Hibachi-San has very fresh food that is prepped daily. The store is always clean and appearance is neat. During the semester they are typically busiest at lunch times but the line moves at a reasonable pace for the amount of customers in line. The staff is friendly and welcoming.”

“Excellent! Taste great! Bagels are so on point and lots of variety. My only issue is that they are a tad bit on the pricey side for breakfast. They do make the bagels every morning. Milk is from Meyers dairy which is great.”

“Very good selection of food. I love how they have included some pricey options as well such as salmon and shrimp. with the student 10% off, I fill myself up easily with $8 with delicious and healthy options. Def recommended.”

“One of my favorite places in the HUB. Their unsweet tea is great (the best on campus in my opinion). I really enjoy their French Dip, Chili, and Mac and Cheese. There seems to always be a shorter line or they just move very quickly.”

“This place is a hidden gem. I went there one Christmas because everywhere else was completely booked and it is amazing! It is super cozy with a pretty little view. They're service is great. Yada Yada, but the FOOD! Their lobster bisque is to die for. I've gone there 3 years in a row since.”

“Fantastic service, from the front of restaurant to the wait staff. Good food, though not amazing. Had the honey salmon, which was just okay. Had a mushroom side dish that was wonderful. Wife had a chickpea stew that was also good, but not amazing. Ambiance was just okay... super neat and historic building but the actual restaurant space had the full lights up, no live music, and had restaurant employees walking past our table all the time to access other parts of the restaurant. If they sit you along the closest wall, as you enter the restaurant, ask to be seated elsewhere as it is an extremely high traffic route.”

“The pizza is okay and a little overpriced but I go for the pasta and chicken parm or the strombolis which are well worth the cost and very filling. Also free breadsticks.”

“Great turnaround! Last year when it just opened, I thought the food fell really flat despite hearing all the hype about it. Recently I came back twice for the 3 side meal + soup and it's so delicious. The staff is also so nice when they aren't too busy. Definitely pay them a visit. In addition to the hot table, they make other dishes like made to order dry pot and downstairs is a bubble tea cafe.”

“Service and hospitality was great. Food was a mix - one of the dishes was made more spicy (as ordered) but just with red pepper without balancing the taste. The rest of the food was great. Location is also very good and so are the interiors. Price wise it is reasonable - $30-35 for a dinner for 2.”

“I haven't tried their burgers yet, and I also haven't been to any other crepe place in State College. But I have been to Underground for crepes a couple times and they are always yummy! The last time I went in, I thought they had left the fries off my order...but I actually hadn't asked for them when putting in my order. Nevertheless, these lovely folks cooked up a fresh batch for me and my sister on the house! My chicken pesto crepe was also amazing. We'll definitely be back!”

“Our waitress, Mara, was FABULOUS! She knew the menu very well and made excellent recommendations. The grilled salmon with the maple glaze was done perfectly and the tavern cheesecake was to die for. They offer unlimited sides which is great for trying all of them out (they serve small portions). Excellent restaurant with great wait staff. Highly recommend!”

“I absolutely love this place. They make everything so fresh, and the quality is outstanding. You can't get food anywhere else like this downtown. Friday and Saturday nights the lines get insanely long, but trust me it has always been worth the wait.”
