“So glad we tried this place out. The menu is small but varied, and there were lots of specials. The service was fantastic, and the server boxed up our leftovers for us (according to my husband, boxing leftovers is what separates a good restaurant from a great restaurant). The chef came out to ask how the food was and chatted with us, the server was very personable, it felt like we were dining with friends. A little pricey, but worth it. I hope that they thrive in Coatesville, we'll be back to support them, for sure.”

“We tried the Record kitchen and bar tonight. Food overall was very good. I had the flat iron steak, it was a bit overdone but very tasty. I ordered medium rare and received medium well. The potato’s were very tasty as well and hot. My wife ordered rigatoni with meat sauce. That was very good also with lots of meat in the sauce, we like a bit more tomato gravy. I ordered Tiramisu for desert, that was awesome. One of the best I ever had. This is a must it you like tiramisu. I enjoyed the dinner and atmosphere. You were able to talk without raising your voice which is always nice. I will return to try some other dishes.”

“We got ice cream and a gelati. The large gelati was huge. You can't beat it for the price. The soft ice cream was different than any other ice cream place I've been to. When I first tried it, i didn't like it. After a few more tries, it tasted better. Definitely recommend this place because you get alot for the money.”

“Having traveled to El Salvador for surfing and hiking, it was great to find a local place with the same cuisine. I ordered the Tajadas De Carne Molida, which was a generous portion, and I took a box home for a future meal. The staff are friendly and happy to help me make the right choice on the menu. “An amazing find! Another place I'm wondering how I'd never been to before, but I know I'll be back again and again. Being in a side street I had just never really seen it there before. It is very much worth the effort to try out if you have not been there. If you have been there, I'm sure you have been back. I had the jambalaya, which came with garlic bread (also VERY good), and a salad (very fresh, it seemed like they cut up the green pepper and tomato just for my salad). The amount of food was over the top as well. They also have an extensive menu. If you can't find something to eat that you like there, I would be very surprised. The place has a great country atmosphere setting, more like an old time diner really. The service was quick, and the prices very reasonable. Go there now!”

“This place is outstanding and definitely a place to try if you're not sure where to get lunch in Coatesville. It's even worth a quick visit to the city if you need some solid Caribbean food. The menu isn't that extensive, you usually only have 5 or 6 things to choose from, but you get served quickly, the portions are large, and the flavors are incredible. I love how the jerk chicken tastes like spices and not just "hot". Get the large and odds are you'll get a second meal out of it as well.”
