“My wife and I dined here on a Saturday evening. We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant is nicely decorated and fairly modern. The kitchen is exposed and they have some tables with a full view but most are on the other side of a wall. We were seated in the basement. That I think was less than ideal since it was like a morgue while the upstairs was lively. Service was good but not special. They have several entrees but the stars of the menu are the fresh pastas. We both had starters which were quite good. I had crab and ricotta balls and my wife beets and beans. For pasta I had the Rocco and my wife had a spicy red sauce with sausage but she complained that there were only two small pieces of sausage. I had asked for sausage in my Rocco which is vegetarian but the server neglected to pass that along to the kitchen. At least he also forgot to put it on the bill. Dessert was chocolate mousse which was great but a bit small to share. Its BYOB and they charge a $2.50 cooking fee. If they fix some service issues it will be a nice place and I would request not to be in the basement.”

“Stopped in for dinner on a Friday night around 6:30. The bar was crowded and loud but we were seated in the dining room right away where the noise level was much lower. We shared a plate of wings wrapped in goat cheese and bacon which were excellent. For dinner we had a Cajun pasta dish with crawdads and a jambalaya noodle bowl both were very tasty with generous portions which made for doggy bags for both of us. The menu had a good variety of appetizers, sandwiches and entrees. We will be back again.”

“I’m no stranger to Vietnamese food, I’ve eaten at high and low-end places. I have to say, this restaurant’s pho is great. I spiced up my broth with some fish sauce and asked for extra green onions, cilantro, and jalapeños. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The beef tendon and cooked beef were delicious in the broth and the noodles were tender and well-cooked. It’s an hour away from me, and I can’t wait to go back again. Also, I recommend their coffee. Iced or hot, it’s very flavorful and potent.”

“I've had hit or miss experiences here. The food is usually really good! Tend to stick with the tacos. Last time I went however, i asked for no onions, and they gave me onions. Instead of making me new tacos when I sent them back, they went through and tried to pick out the onions.... I am a much better onion picker than they are however, and was still able to pull a pile of onion chunks out of the tacos before I was able to to eat them.”

“First time here. Busy on a Friday night but we got a table for 2 right away. The restaurant is loud but we were still able to carry on a conversation fairly easily. I enjoyed the lager I had which had a hint of raspberry. We shared the special of mussels with goat cheese which was very good. I had the spare ribs which were nice and tender with a dry run and 4 barbecue sauces were provided on the side. Hubby had the fried chicken which was crispy and maybe just a tad bit overdone but it had a nice flavor with a hint of honey. Service was attentive and friendly. We'll definitely return when in the mood for pub food and some good beer.”

“Last time we were here the steaks were great and the service was incredible. This time, I kept wondering what we had done to make our server so upset/aggressive/angry at us! To be honest, this was probably the worst service experience I've ever had. The whole room was empty, but she rushed us along the whole night. Along with the poor service, the live band was way too loud. Live music is great, but who wants to shout across a table at a steak restaurant? The food was mediocre at best. Steak was cooked nicely but the seasoning was boring. Come to think of it, the sides were also boring. So we were just eating bland food, staring at each other because we couldn't speak, getting glared at by our server. I'm not sure who this place is catering to, but it's telling that all the other restaurants on the street were totally full while this one had a completely empty room.”

“Ambience of the restaurant deserves 1 star, but the food deserves 10 stars. I visited this place with a Hispanic friend (because he recommended this place) and the food was excellent. You know that it is a good Mexican restaurant when you see that most of their customer is Hispanic. You should try their green-creamy salsa with the complementary tortilla chips. I have never tasted a creamy-salty-spicy salsa that good.”

Had a great breakfast of congee plus a side of pancakes. The only thing that i wasn't crazy about was the bubble tea. Was expecting the solid tapioca, but got little flavor filled bubbles of... sweetness. Wasn't bad, just not what I expected. Definitely go, definitely enjoy a meal there.”
