“This is a place mainly for takeout/delivery with counter service and a few tables. We ordered the popular cheese steak (ribeye) sandwiches with fried onion. The size of the sandwich is substantial, almost 12 inches and there's a good amount of meat and cheese. Overall, the taste was good but the beef was a little over cooked on the dry side. For the price of $15, it's pretty good value for a big sandwich and decent service.”

“Combined a scoop of edible chocolate chip cookie dough with scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was Sunday at 5ish and very quiet in town so we sat on the bench outside of Cookie Dope and ate our treats. Cost $15 for the two of us to grab dessert there. Several choices of cookie doughs to select from in order for it to be bit different than other ice-cream places. The cookie dough made the cost worth it to try something new tonight. The young woman working today was super kind.”

“Came for the riffs on a Saturday evening. Was not disappointed. Great sound in here, would absolutely return. Louder than I thought it'd be (which is always nice.) I like the set up, too - low stage, in a corner if you're interested in different sight lines for the photography-type. Ate dinner beforehand, can't comment on the food, but the rest was lovely. I'm usually slowing headbanging against my chiropractic advice, so the even levels and quick and smooth transitions between bands tell me this is a place I'd drive to again, my neck be damned.”

“Celebrated Father's day yesterday and enjoyed the most delicious meal. The owners were welcoming, courteous, and professional. The dining space is beautifully decorated and immaculate. I am Jamaican 🇯🇲and my husband is Haitian 🇭🇹formerly from Brooklyn, so we know authentic Caribbean food. Service was attentive and efficient. I loved the owner and my husband speaking in their native language of Haiti 🇭🇹 Now, the food: oxtails tender, griot tender with pikliz delicious, white rice, djon djon, rice n beans well cooked, jerk chicken nice char, soup joumou and beef Bouyon hot and delicious. D&G Ginger beer is my favorite Jamaican soda. We got the family meal 3 apps, 3 entrees, 3 sides. When I retired recently from Chester County Hospital I thought I would never be making the long commute from New London anymore, except for doctors appointments, but I DEFINITELY will be making the 45 minute commute to Manje. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Can't wait to return. Trust me when I say BEST CARIBBEAN FOOD in CHESCO, Newark DE, Bear DE, and Wilmington DE. “I feel my overall rating is 3.5. It was my birthday and we decided to do takeout and enjoy the meal at home with my family. So I can't comment on the atmosphere. The server repeated everything on the phone, esp about no shrimp and warning on cross contamination for my sister-in-law. The time for pick up was not long. My dad ran in to get it and when he asked for a senior citizen discount, they did give him some. Came home and checked out the meals. My sister-in-law ordered: Blackened Ahi Tuna and I believe she said the description said jumbo lump crab. Usually jumbo is used to describe shrimp, hence her concern there may be some in there. But she did expect there to be crab but to her disappointment, there was not any. I had the Sambuca Salmon...of coarse I forgot to take a pic of my meal 😔 and it was yummy. No bread or salad came with the meal and I don't know if that is offered when dining in the restaurant. The prices ranged from $20 to $32. We enjoyed our food but did have one disappointed customer.”

“Wow! Walk, run, drive doesn't matter how you get here, just get here as fast as you can to try this new spot. The food is amazing, I had the shaved garlic and herb prime rib ciabatta, I will be dreaming of this sandwich. I was given a few samples, one was a sweet potato fry (best sweet potato I have ever had.) I also tried the Korean BBQ tofu (if you don't eat tofu, don't be afraid it was incredible!) I can't wait to try the french onion soup for dinner tonight and lavender lemon cupcake for dessert. Everyone was so welcoming and the store is immaculate. They also have local honey and other treats, cheeses and family style meals and do catering. A fabulous addition to WC!”

“We were excited to check out a new oyster place in the Borough. They have some kinks to work out, for sure. It’s very nicely decorated inside, but the prices do not match the quality I was expecting. My husband and daughter ordered the raw oysters, which should be served on ice, were instead served in a pile of melted ice water. The food runner had trouble serving the platter with so much water in the large serving plate. We should have sent them back due to food safety. My husband said the cocktail sauce tasted like ketchup. I ordered fried oysters, which were served on the half shell and were the size of a dime. When I inquired if this was correct, they said yes, these were fried oysters. In reality, they were broiled (grilled) with Parmesan, which also was on the menu, just not what I ordered. So after a $180 bill, not including tip, we ended up ordering pizza from New Havens right across the street. I would hope these issues can be worked out. Might suggest the manager walking around checking on food quality and customer experience, especially in your first few weeks.”
