The Stone Barn

Overrated, over-priced and rather mediocre buffet brunch with very few healthy options such as vegan/vegetarian. The restaurant is located in a beautifully restored barn that provides plenty of good ambiance. The friendly waitresses did not have much more to do than remove empty plates yet I’m still waiting for the whole milk for my coffee. Part of the problem is the absence of a confident hostess or manager. It felt like we had to convince the two young ladies at the entrance that we actually had a reservation. We were not welcomed in any way. I can’t see myself returning.

I had the privilege to provide entertainment services for a wedding at The Stone Barn and they couldn't be easier to work with. Not every venue takes care of the outside vendors but the staff at The Stone Barn was amazing. When I called to schedule a site visit Alex was more than willing to spend some time with me going over the venue and how everything would work. She was also very accommodating when it came to me arriving early the day of the wedding to setup and do sound check. During the event she was on top of everything coordinating the formalities and making sure we were all on the same page. I guess it might be a little unusual for a vendor to review another vendor but they truly deserve it. I hope to work with Alex and the staff at The Stone Barn again, it was truly a pleasure.

Sunday brunch.
Great food. Fresh salads. Amazing mushroom chowder. Melt in your mouth beef brisket. Nice selection of desserts including strawberry rice pudding which got 2 thumbs up. Service was courteous and pleasant, efficient and attentive. Highly recommend. Beautiful atmosphere.

Came here with some family members for their Sunday brunch. It was delicious! They had a breakfast section, lunch section, salad selections,soups, huge dessert table and a few other things. The building itself was really cool as well. We walked all over the property and checked out the old mill and lake. Very cool!

Went to Thanksgiving dinner buffet, prime rib was tough and not that good, they did have quit a selection of food to choose from and for the most part it was good but there were other things that weren't good at all. I wouldn't recommend the Mac n Cheese, potato salad, Spanish seafood peletto, but everything else was very good. The turkey was nice and tender I was able to cut it with a fork, the gravy was doctored up jar gravy, ugh!!
