“Front area was fine (general decor, but looks more like a take out type place w/counter, soft drink case, toys in corner area, simple tables, etc ), however check out the back dining which is better! Nice staff, fast and friendly. Food was good, but cost a little bit more than would’ve expected ( though had a little bit left over to take home for tomorrow’s lunch). Interesting menu , but felt it was too mixed between soul food, an Asian dish, a couple Italian dishes, stuffed potatoes, etc. ( I’d like to see it concentrate on the soul food and expand that selection, adding a variety of ribs, bbq chicken, and some other “comfort”/naughty dishes.). Unfortunately when there it was a very limited menu too as they had no regular colas ( only diet) & only unsweetened tea, plus no oven pizzas, and no lasagna ( and we went early for dinner). Try it for sure , especially for the soul food, which I’m going to try next time.”

“Food was served fresh. Chicken Rice soup was good and filling. The workers were very nice. Although sitting there to dine, our rice came in a takeout carton, and the rest in a separate plastic container. We did not have a way to mix it all together. I'm sure they would've given us 2 more plates if asked, but we made it work. Overall good, just ask for extra plates!”

“The food here is very good. We came here for the first time. I had the special. A smoked beef & burrata sandwich with hand cut fries. Both were excellent. The sandwich had a lot of flavor and the fries were cooked to perfection. The twin taco starter is a good selection with a number of choices for filler. The smash burger is really good but I'd recommend the double if you are hungry because the single isn't much to eat. There's also a shelf in the restaurant where you can buy their home made sauces, flavored popcorn and flavored pretzels. We sampled the pretzels and OH Man! They aren't messing around with the spicy! We picked a bag of honey mustard & onion medium spicy. Very good! FYI they do have an uncovered outside deck to eat along with a variety of seating options inside.”

“Food and service were excellent. 2021 Chardonnay was great. For some unknown reason they don’t have Pinot Noir. Parking is plenty. Food is on the expensive side. The only concern I had was the acoustics- was very noisy in there. With a full house, we couldn’t hear each other unless we shouted. But all new restaurants are constructed without any noise control.”

“The food was excellent. Had the seafood corn chowder it was creamy and full of seafood. Then had mozzarella sticks that are made there, hand breaded. The Smoky BBQ pizza was great. The BBQ sauce was sweet and smoky with lots of meat. Everything us fresh not frozen. The pizza crust is gluten free. Will back again!!!!! ????????”

If you like old buildings and antiques, you really need to find a way to come check this place out sometime and have some good quality ice cream while you're there. “Giving this 4 stars as their Pasta Night on Tuesday is very good. Made to order with many options and excellent garlic rolls. The only downside is that the majority of the clientele on the restaurant side are Senior Citizens. The noise volume is very high, drowning out normal volume conversations. There are no booths so the whole dining area is wide open. The other downside is that do not seem to staff very well. There is seating for at least 50 or more in the dining room however there never seems to be more than 2 servers. If there are no large groups, there could be 12 or more individual tables at any one time. Not a good ratio of server to table. Their menu is adequate though somewhat limited.”
