“I love everything about this place EXCEPT the cleanliness of the rooms. I love the old charm, historic feel, and beautiful pool and views. Staff is friendly. Occasionally you pass through areas that are a bit musty (but that is to be expected with it's age). The most surprising thing about this place IS THE FOOD! Oh my word! So incredibly delicious, full of flavor, unique, and fairly-priced meals. All in all, we will still return in the future. So quaint and peaceful. Visited in October.”

“Our foursome played this course for the first time today. I'd describe it as a diamond in the rough. Clearly the new management is spending money -- making lasting improvements to the course take time. The club house facility appears recently remodeled and is beautiful. The food was excellent! While it is August (2019) and it's our hot season the greens were in excellent shape and putted true. The fairways and tee boxes were okay, but beginning to show signs of the summer heat. As with any course there were some great holes and some wonky holes. It's getting 4 of 5 stars because they're moving the right direction and the completed course improvements show tremendous promise. We'll be back to play it again!”

“I love Bud's. Good service, good food, good atmosphere. Their pizza can't be beat. I've tried almost all of them. I love their "shrooms" (cream cheese stuffed mushrooms) beer prawns, loaded fries... The salads are good especially for the price. Cold beers, great selection on tap, just one of mine and my families favorite places to eat. We eat here at least once or twice a wk.”

The delivery was awesome and fast, the young man wished us a good dinner and a good night ( we tipped him $5 we live 0.2 miles away). The pizza was amazing, a lot of cheese and heavy sauce with a nice crust that’s golden but white so it isn’t rough, I do not like crust but their crust is amazing and falls apart in your mouth. “The Arch is just what you'd expect in a local hangout bar, but with wonderful food. Fortunately, I'm a local with plebeian tastes and I've been known to occasionally hang out there. Unfortunately, I'm a horrendous cook, so I love to eat out and therefore I know all the local restaurants and especially know the good ones. So, after having eaten in this establishment many, many times, I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal there. Ever. Recommended for their inexpensive but excellent food, even if you don't know anyone else in the place.”

“Went to lunch today at this great little restaurant. I had a side salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing and chicken quesadillas that was absolutely delicious. My friends had a cheeseburger, one had a BLT and another had a chicken wrap and they all said everything was very good. Our waitress was wonderful. We really enjoyed our visit. “Amazing fries, recommend the Buffalo Chicken! Their Philly steaks are awesome, and their burgers are cheap and delicious for the size. Always pleasant, when you order online they are up front about the wait time, usually 45+ min, but the food is always worth it. Their specialty pizzas are very creative, and any time my wife order from here, usually a 30-40 dollar order, it was enough food for 2-3 days, especially with the strombollis. I highly recommend.”

After 4 visits passing through on a bike trips, I wish they would provide ice water like other businesses on the GAP trail who do cater to bicyclists. When asked, staff reluctantly fills water bottles with luke warm water from kitchen tap. I think they think you should buy bottled water from the refrigerator.”
