“Since I am a Refton native, i was delighted to see this new restaurant in town. I have been there several times. The food is good, the staff is friendly, and the place is delightful. I highly recommend the baked oatmeal yogurt bowl! They have done a wonderful job of restoring and modeling the old Refton store and post office. I have many good memories. My family purchased our groceries at the store and I picked up our mail from Bessie Reinhart twice a day. Raymond had a lot of patience, when I chose my penny candy. If you are looking for good food, good service, and a friendly atmosphere, don't miss this little gem in Refton.”

“My mom and I ate here when we were on a bus trip to the Sight & Sound Theater. We were served a family style dinner. They passed around platters of ham and turkey. They were bowls of corn, green beans and mashed potatoes. There was fresh bread and salads and pie for dessert. The food was simple but good. The service was fast. Nice gift shop to look around. We enjoyed it.”

“The food was outstanding, The waitress was outstanding. The little girl hostess was outstanding. We went to Katie's for dinner and was so impressed we decided to go back for breakfast the next morning and again everything was outstanding. We got there around 5 PM and there was no line but when we left there were 12 people waiting. It is small but the the food and service is worth waiting for.”

“Charming classic railroad with beautiful interior railroad cars. Fairly priced, welcoming staff and kid friendly. Short train ride but beautiful views of Amish country. A nice way to spend the afternoon if in the area. Dinning car is lovely, but limited food choices. Authentic charm makes it worth it though!”
