Awesome meal, I love my steak. I am extremely picky with how my steak is cooked and my instruction was followed to perfection...Sabroso!!! ...and to that handsome fella that decided to pay for my meal and join me, thanks for such a great time. Let new friendships begin, once again to a wonderful gentleman and an awesome meal.
They have the best Prime Rib in this area, oddly enough. Best to call ahead to avoid waiting. Otherwise you WILL have a wait nearly every day. Usually spot on with the food, the help, the prices, etc. My favorite steak and rib place in the Trexlertown area.
Texas Roadhouse is my favorite restaurant for steaks. Great atmosphere. The kids love shelling the peanuts while we wait for the food. Plus the bread is fantastic.
Great price great food great atmosphere! The steak I had all the way cooked and you would never know. It was just as soft as a med rare steak! Was pretty impressed. And the mashed potatoes are to die for!!!
I've eaten here several times and sadly, this is not a really good Texas Roadhouse location. I've been to a couple of other Texas Roadhouse restaurants, and the food at the others were all much better than this one.
My first problem is that the steak usually isn't too good. I've had different cuts of steak, and even the more expensive ones haven't been very good. My wife seems to like the filet, but I've had really bad luck with what I've chosen.
Secondly, they can't seem to keep their chili hot. Every time that I've received it, it is not warm enough. Last time it was almost hot, but the previous time, it was actually cool and I had to tell the server.
On our last visit here, they never even brought us the famous bread and flavored butter. We didn't remember until after we had our meals though. I had the pulled pork platter this time which was pretty good, but I believe the menu said it was supposed to come with Texas Toast, but instead, all it came with was a small buttered roll, which wasn't enough bread (that's when I realized that we didn't get the rolls early on, and of course the server didn't come around....). Sadly, the meat temperature of the pulled pork was pretty cool, but it was edible. Their version of pulled pork seemed to actually get just rib scrapings, and I liked it enough that I would order it again.
On the positive side, they do still sing for birthdays, they have free peanuts, and the servers are pretty good at refilling drinks.
