“I know, this isn't the cheapest place for having a sandwich BUT believe me, it's totally worth it. The quality of the meat is just amazing. Everything was super fresh. ???? I'm definitely coming back to try a hot hoagie. ???? The only downside is that they can't toast the bread and there's no fries. Just chips. And no combos, so that makes the order pricier. It was weird that it was early and all the chairs were on the tables, not sure if they were cleaning before I arrived but was kind of awkward eating like that. Service was great! Even for a counter table service.”

Beer selection is good with some nice local craft options.”

“I stopped here for a quick business lunch I will say that I love this place. We only shared an appetizer but we were treated very well and it was delicious. I had eggplant caponata and wow...it was amazing. It was tasty and homemade and the staff was friendly. It was also very clean. I can’t wait to take my wife in for dinner. A lot of restaurants pay no mind to someone stopping in for a mere appetizer but they treated us very well. Kudos on getting it right. I’ll be back for sure.”

“Really enjoyed dinner at the Buckeye Tavern. I like the decor inside; it conveys a warm, homey feeling. The food was good too, had their "famous" onion soup which was tasty, though could have done with a few less croutons in the soup. My sandwich was pretty standard fare, but done well. Service was very engaging, and struck the right balance between attentiveness and not constantly checking on us. Would definitely recommend and look forward to going back.”
