Umami Gorilla

I can't say enough good things about this place. The owners were very friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable. They take a great deal of pride in their food. I love how they are conscious of the environment as well with the take out containers and bags being biodegradable. The food is absolutely delicious. As a new vegan since 1/1/19, it was some of the tastiest vegan comfort food I've had yet. It was definitely a nice treat, and I will be back on a regular basis.

Good atmosphere, friendly folks, and great food! If you're vegan or looking to try and you're in the area, go here. You'll leave satisfied for sure.

I have never ever felt the need to write a review of anywhere before until after eating here. After looking at the building and the venue, we were scared of what we were getting into as it was a little run down looking. We couldn't have been happier to be proven wrong. The food was delicious, mimicked it's non-vegan dishes so well, there was large portions, and was cheap. The staff of mother and son were really nice and offer discounts to students and loyalty cards which can lead to a free meal. Will definitely be trying their whole menu, highly recommend with an open mind.

Really awesome food! I really enjoyed the way it was setup and food, it just felt like home in every way. I don't live nearby but did get to visit 2 days in a row! Can't wait til I find more reasons to go to Wilkes barre again and stop by here. I had cheesesteak I was really , thanks for great meals !

We loved our food! Service was great. We took dessert home, and everyone loved the peanut butter brownies. Prices are very reasonable too. It's great that there is a vegan comfort food restaurant that has gluten free options finally in our area. We can't wait to go back.
