“When I was a kid I had this amazing pizza. I remember how creamy the cheese was, the unique flavor of the sauce and dough, it was incredible. And I never had it again for decades, I never knew where I had it, I only remembered the taste and a little bit about the place (I was 5 or so). I've heard people I work with telling me about it and how delicious it was so I ordered a tray to take home. Wouldn't you know it....this was that amazing pizza I had as a child! Incredible!! I'm so glad I found this place again! Hands down, THE best pizza! Expect me back!”

“Great place to grab a bite. Food is flavorful and service was friendly. They are reasonably priced (almost too much so) especially with the rising cost of takeout these days. You get a lot of food for your money here. The only reason I’m giving atmosphere 4 stars is because of the lack of parking and there’s not that many seats for dining in. But most people take their food to go and whenever I’ve visited I usually have no trouble finding a seat (though as word gets out about this place that may not be the case for long). Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.”

“You Need To Know? This was impressive bbq. A great find & a must try for everyone in the Pittston area. We ordered the brisket French dip special which has horseradish spread on it with onions, peppers, provolone cheese & a side of au jus for dipping. We also had the brisket platter which is served with tater tots & pickles. The brisket is perfectly smoked & so tender. Also had a ham BBQ sandwich which comes on a fresh Keyser roll & relish spread. The red garlic chicken wings had some heat to them & the wings were cooked perfectly & were very meaty. Can't say enough how good The Fire Pit food is, props to the kitchen staff. Service was very friendly. The only negative criticism was the one TV had FOX news on it. 😆 Strongly recommend! Now You Know! -TBH”

“I visited this place on Sunday, and it was pretty busy. The space inside is limited, with just a few tables, making it ideal for a quick bowl or smoothie or for takeout. The quality of the products is excellent, consistent with other Playa Bowls I’ve visited before. It’s great to have one in this area. They offer healthy açaí bowls with various blends including banana and mango, along with a wide variety of smoothies, juices, energy drinks, and more. The staff is still ironing out some operational issues. It took about 10-15 minutes to get our smoothies, but I’m confident that once they smooth out these initial kinks, this will be a fantastic spot to frequent. If you want a healthy alternative to fast food or just a freshening snack checkout playa bowls.”

“This little, unassuming, out of the way, "Hole-in-the-wall" Pizza Shop was a very pleasant discovery. The guys were super friendly, the prices were great, and the food rivaled some of the Best Italian Restaurants, at any price. We had a Philly Cheesesteak hoagie in the garden, an order of (6) mozzarella sticks, and a "small" Stromboli, plus 3 drinks for under $35. They use high gluten bread flour, which makes their crust chewy and very, very tasty. Plus, the food was HOT. Even the marinara sauce was steaming hot. Check out the small Stromboli. There were 7 pieces. I wonder how big the large one was?”
