Sushi Hatsu

Do yourself a favor and make reservations as the website suggests for a smooth entry into a dining experience. I was seated at the sushi bar and had a server that was incredibly familiar with the menu. She did manage to sell some options very well, and you would've felt foolish passing on. The order consisted of a cold app, hot app, several sushi rolls and was finished with a chef's special of two different types of uni. For the first time ever at a restaurant for me, the chef personally walked out, delivered the uni and added some info about the dish. Quite the touch while showing a great appreciation for coming in that evening.

I'm not sure what else you'd like from a pleasureable meal. All of the food was fantastic and fresh. To me, this is a highlight of the Ambler area, and worth the visit.

Went to Sushi Hatsu last night for the first time with my whole family after a movie at the beautiful Ambler theater and I must say that this is the best Japanese restaurant I have been to in the northeastern United States. Just amazing food and service. The room is modern, clean, minimilast and beautiful in the spirit of a classic refined Japanese restaurant but the menu offerings and food quality were the standouts of the experience. Very interesting items on the menu made it so that we had to limit our tasting to a small sample of what they have to offer but everything was amazing,. Creative, fresh, interesting and beautifully prepared. Even though it's 40 minutes from where we live this will be a new regular place for us....worth the trip. AND it's BYOB. GREAT!

Amazing service, very friendly, great atmosphere and delicious sushi. They offer hot and cold appetizers, wanted to try them all. A selection ok n of hot small plates and unique signature rolls. This is my new sushi go to place. And its BYOB, which I love too.

This place is amazing! The fish is fresh and the care with which the sushi is made and presented is excellent. The decor is inviting and warm. The chefs are excellent as well. Prices are fair and quality is top notch.

Definitely one of the best sushi spots around the area!

Love everything about it! Shared several menu items with my friend and not one bad selection. In fact, the food is exceptional! There is something for everyone so don't let the sushi in the name keep you away. There are cooked, raw, vegan, vegetarian, carnivorous, and special diet options. My friend had some very specific requests and the chef was extremely accommodating. Substitution are accepted. If you go for a sushi roll know it is a generous entree size! They have interesting deserts...if you still have room. Make a reservation. It was full by 5:00 on a Tuesday night! Keep up the amazing food and services! Go Ambler!
