Keep

Got the family all in one place for my sibling and their spouse to share some exciting news with our mother. The Keep is as cozy as it is lovely. We got a great table in the corner by the huge front window.
The menu options were diverse and seemed to have something for everybody in our party. The atmosphere was light and all the tables in the room enjoyed themselves.
I withheld a star for one reason. The staff was knowledgeable and prompt. A little too prompt. Our server and another employee returned to the table every 5 or so minutes; refilling the two sips taken from the water glass, or to thoroughly wipe the virtually spotless table off.
Now I know it seems like I'm being a jerk here. I really did have a lovely time at the restaurant. I was compelled to write this review only because the over-eagerness of the staff felt, to me, borderline intrusive at times. It's an experience I've never had and I needed to get it out there in the ether.
All in all, I implore you to experience what The Keep has to offer: a dish for any taste in a perfectly-located, reposeful hideaway. Shoutout to the Lentil Fritters!

Hate to say this, because its so small and anything I say will increase the demand. Awesome food, awesome service, just neat all round.

The atmosphere is only exceeded by the taste of the food. The staff is friendly, knowledge, and helpful. The menu has choices of smaller portion starters, allowing us to savor several different tastings. The main courses are large enough to be satisfying and filling. The entire experience was incredible. I recommend the scallops plate, which was cooked and flavored to perfection.

The service was truly fantastic. The staff was friendly and responsive. The food was good. Food was good, not great. Presentation was great. Some menu items were unavailable.

Excellent addition to Jenkintown. Relaxing atmosphere, creative yet entirely accessible cuisine. You can get small plates to share. Lovely eclectic and retro music selection. Cheese plate is fantastic.
