Very good food. New ownership. They renovated and seemed to have taken risks on this small restaurant in a small town that is waiting for a turbo charge since the movie theater closed. If you want and understated dining experience but excellent Thai dinner where you're likely to find a table even at 8 on a Saturday this is a sure thing, consistent authentic fresh, they care about their food. The staff was friendly and the most diverse staff I've seen in a while which was great. They could use a little attention to detail in terms of tidying up the front corner and a few things but I'm sure it's clean and top notch where it counts. We'll be coming regularly.
Relaxed atmosphere, delicious comforting food. Very impressed with service and food.
Damn, that was an unexpected surprise! Super tasty food, low-key vibe and super attentive staff. Bonus points for being able to walk to the restaurant from our home! We will definitely return for more.
Across the street from the Bala theater is a small Thai restaurant that's absolutely worth your time to check out. Yes, you'll find classic Thai soups, but try the Gulf of Thailand soup. Perfectly tender seafood in a rich spicy broth. The green curry is excellent as is lemongrass chicken. You'll also find a variety of vegetarian dishes. Combine excellent food with excellent service and you have a winner. The only challenge may be parking.
Me and my husband dined in last night and the food was very good. It's a very cozy, quiet restaurant. The staff was very nice as well. We will be back again soon.
