Tap Room - Hotel Bethlehem

Upscale restaurant in the heart of historic Bethlehem. Good eclectic American dishes are served here from seafood to steak and some pasta in between. Good wine and beer list.

We were there during the first week of March, giving us an opportunity to sample its New Orleans Mardi Gras menu. Creole gumbo was great, with fresh shrimps and okra. Seafood Bouseillbe was well thought out with scallops, shrimps and mussels in tangy tomato based broth.

Service was quite good, staff was attentive.

We went for winter restaurant week and had a fantastic time! The hostesses were kind and made small talk with us when we were seated. It was lit well enough and smelled like pine trees throughout our meal. Our three course dinner was delicious and our waiter was extremely helpful and prompt. He offered some great recommendations. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Lovely and ellegant. So much to look at. The staff was very attentive and food was good for price. We went for breakfast.

The hotel is beautiful at Christmas and expectedly crowded. However, the lobby between the two doors should be heated, not an overly costly fix. Do to the constant flow of people in and out the tap room ,and bar ,it was VERY cold, hence our food was cold ,and just sitting at our table for Anniversary dinner was uncomfortable. Our server was attentive ,and very pleasant.
I cannot imagine how uncomfortable the hostess must be standing immediately inside the door. Next year we will just enjoy a celebratory drink, then have dinner at another restaurant in Bethlehem.

I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant even though I didn't order anything. Based upon the interaction with the staff at the door, I thought service was spectacular.
