Zest bar+grille

Dinner at Zest was an excellent experience. Wonderful food, terrific service, awesome view, great atmosphere and well priced. However, we were certainly perplexed by the parking. Directions in lot NEED to be clarified. Also. Why is it that validation
by Zest can't be for full time spent? Not that you have to pay for overtime and not be allowed to pay cash when leaving? Very complicated.

Came here with my family for my father's birthday. We asked for a seat with a good view and we got what we asked for which was high up and very nice. I got the lobster tail which includes a scallion Yukon cake. The lobster tail was fantastic. The service was also good. Getting from the garage is complicated but the signs help out a lot.

I’m hopeful for improvement. Many are comparing to 3501 and do so because it is an excellent and proven restaurant but it’s not really fair to do so. Zest is new and they’re defining themselves and the intent to deliver is there. I think ratings would be higher if people did not know the two were owned by the same people because Zest can stand on its own. To me Zest is the baby brother to a sports star that is trying to prove themselves. Give Zest a chance to be its own and I think you’ll be as happy as we were. Our food was delightful, the prices are a little steeper but the overhead here is no doubt higher. Our meal and service were just fine. My steak was cooked just right and we will be back. Be open minded and go to experience Zest, not 3501 and I’m sure you’ll like it.

The views are stellar!! Zest is a perfect place to take out-of-town guests. Make reservations, as the place fills up quickly. Even in a full dining room, the noise level is very comfortable. I had scallops and they were delicious. The rabbit appetizer was also great.
