Miss Jackson's Kitchen

Ok, so this was me and my bfs 1st time here and it was decorated so cute and had such a cozy relaxed feel to it. Ordering was easy and effortless on the screen, and the food was so fresh that you could taste that they do not lie on their menu about it. We were so pleased we will be returning very soon. Pleasantly surprised by the chill atmosphere of the restaurant and prices of the restaurant. It’s self order but the service is still great and the food was good! We went for brunch on a Saturday morning and despite being on a college campus, we easily found seating and on-street parking.

We had brunch here today and really enjoyed it, although it was certainly a different vibe than what we were expecting. The establishment is very new age, which seems somewhat at odds with the name. Maybe that's just me though. Everything was really tasty and the employees were delightful. We ate the Chicken n Waffles and the Shrimp n grits. The staff were wonderful. The place was clean. No complaints!

A friend & I stopped by to check out Miss Jackson’s one day while in the College Hill area of Easton. We heard about this place but hesitated a bit since it is located right across the Lafayette College gates & were worried about parking and college crowds. We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to find street parking right across from the restaurant (there was plenty of on street parking available).

When we walked in, the restaurant was not as nearly crowded as we expected! There were plenty of booths and tables available. We were there around 10:00 am for reference. An employee greeted us right away and explained that we can order either from the kiosk or walk to the register at the rear of the seating area. We chose to go the register. After looking at the menu, we ordered & were given a number block for our table. Our orders came out quickly.

I got the All the Fixin’ breakfast sandwich. It was so good… and very filling! It was served on one of their biscuits, which is huge! My friend got the chicken & waffle. I asked her how she liked her food & she said it was really good- the waffle was good but the chicken tenders were delicious. I agree since I had them on my sandwich with an incredibly good sausage gravy, a slice of cheddar cheese & bacon. The sausage gravy really made the sandwich & was much spicier than I expected- but in a good way. I would go back there just for that!

The place was bright, open, airy & tastefully decorated. I think I would live in this place if I went to the college across the street since there is a cozy seating area and counter with stools with plenty of outlets available. I couldn’t help to make note of this since I always looked for places like this to study & work on homework.

Overall, we had a great experience. The staff was friendly & were helpful when we had questions. We will definitely visit again.
