Mad Rex Restaurant and Virtual Reality Lounge

Overall I liked everything I ate. The wings were well prepared and had good flavor. The calamari was cooked just right, it lacked seasoning but they had sauces for it. Services was a little wanting but the main reason I can't give it more than 3 stars is that they don't offer to and actually refuse to cook the steak or anything else if you don't want to cook it on the salt block. I'm supposed to pay 46 bucks for a steak and I don't even have the option of having the kitchen cook it.

Food was amazing! I had the Mushroom Medley Hot Rock: wonderful! I'm glad, as a vegetarian, that they offered such a good selection. Then the Virtual Reality room was a blast! I made my family laugh till they cried as they watched me.

Update: food was delicious!....HOWEVER, food came after 1hr 20min but my side was not ready yet. I finished my meal, still no side.

Restaurant not crowded at 730pm on a Saturday. In a group of 4 and order just entrees. Its been an hour and we are still waiting...sigh...

Very cool atmosphere here. I love a themed restaurant and this place doesn’t hold back on ambiance! The smoked scotch cocktail is delicious if you like a smokey drink. I had the scallops which were cooked perfectly, not overdone. Will def check this place out again when I’m in town.

Came in here before a concert and it was slammed. The staff was super helpful, especially Jasmine and Damian at the bar. They made sure to take care of the party even though they were booked solid. I was impressed with their demeanor and professionalism and the drinks were solid. Thank you. 5 star service.
