Vince's Pizzeria of Fishtown

Former professional chef here. Vince's is Philly's best kept pizza secret. Their pies are always fresh and consistently delicious. My only criticism is that the crust is not greasy and too cracker-like.

But overall, Vince's has the best tasting pizza in all of Philly. As toppings, I prefer their sausage, steak, extra cheese, and (of course) pepperoni.

The sausage is the breakfast type yet always fresh and tasty. The mushrooms are canned and all but flavorless, so I avoid them.

The staff is rude, very slow, impatient, disorganized, and demanding. But what else would you expect in Fishtown?

The prices are higher here than at their Grant Avenue store but still lower than at much of the local competitors, most of whom serve vastly inferior pizza.

Overall, consistently five stars for flavor.

I visited for the first time yesterday. Everything was exceptional— the service, the quality, cleanliness, ambiance, and especially the pie!

The owners continuously checked in with customers and assured their satisfaction. I’ve never experienced such a friendly, hands on approach to make customers feel valued and appreciated. I will absolutely be back soon!

Just had their pizza with mushrooms, very tasty! I ordered thin crust, of course.. Their crust is very fresh and cooked perfectly. Delivery took only half the quoted time, which arrived in only 30 minutes on a Saturday evening in Fishtown. Nothing arrives in 30 minutes in Fishtown on a Saturday night so you can't beat it! They may be my new favorite pizza joint

Full disclosure: a relative of mine knows the owner of this place. But the pizza here is absolutely delicious and some of the best in the city. I especially recommend their special white pie. The interior is definitely not that of a typical corner pizzeria, but the prices are still reasonable. Worth a try!
