    Caffe Val is a local favorite. They have a small menu that has options for every pallete and the staff is very friendly and non-obtrusive. On weekends you may need to make a reservation and it is BYOB, so make sure to pickup wine before heading in. I recommend this place for a romantic night out.

    Wonderful experience! The food was delicious. The pasta homemade. The service was excellent. Great atmosphere with Italian music playing. Will definitely be back!

    Went here for my dad's birthday, food was delicious. We were greeted by the owner's wife and adorable daughter, then by him at the end of the meal. Little south philly gem!

    My husband and I planed a cousins party there and everyone had a great time. From the owner to the staff (Sammy, Jenny, and Tommy) all made you feel like family. Food was great and the place is so quaint and beautiful. Highly recommend this restaurant. One of my favorites
