Bar Bombón

Oh. My. Goodness. The food there is spectacular! My wife and I frequent there as often as we can (we don’t live in the city) and it is 1000% worth it for the food every time! Their drinks are actually equally noteworthy so definitely order one if that’s your thing, but the food is amazing. They are small portions and 100% plant based so you can try and a bunch of things off the menu and feel good about it. You have to order their meatballs. For. Real. And save room for dessert and get their Tres Leches Cake which I never thought I’d have again once becoming vegan. So good! We’ve done brunch (it’s delish!) and dinner so just find a time and make your way there, you won’t be disappointed.

My only thing are that space is teeny tiny so just keep that in mind. I honestly hope they do so well that they can just expand. The servers are always!! top notch but we’ve had 2 times where the same host was not very kind or welcoming (and it was a little awkward because we had to wait for a table but stand directly in front of him because there wasn’t anywhere else to go), but it ultimately doesn’t deter us from going for the rest of the experience. Maybe he was having some bad days. So yea, 10/10 recommend where is matters the most. =)

All plant-based, all amazing. Not typically vegan but a great spot to go to incorporate it in my diet or with friends who are!

Great spot for tasty Latin American food. This place is absolutely one of my favorites. I'll return family next time. The bill was fair for the quality of the food. Mood here is similar to Fresno's scene.

Bar Bombón is quite the experience. There cocktail menu features many fun and interesting concoctions, and the ingredients are some of the freshest if not the freshest around. All of the drinks will leave you feeling light and happy :). For the vegan in the room, the food will be a clear winner. Everything is vegan so the options are many. If you are not vegan, you will be surprised by the taste of the food. Any of the foods that have substitutes for meat taste just as they would normally often with more flavor and a hint of sustainability. The buffalo tacos are our favorite and the cauliflower is cooked to a perfect texture. The traditional tacos are more filling than the cauliflower tacos but lack a strong taste. As a starter, we tried the empanadas. They came out very warm with a beautiful orange color and a beef and cheese substitute inside. They were tasty, but the beef substitute lacked in a similar way as the tacos. A must try is the cheese which will have you asking for another bag of chips no matter your diet!
