Really good sweet potato fries, but the chicken sandwich was gritty and dry.

We got the Philly Steak sandwich. It was good, but a little pricey.

The social distancing procedures were effortless. I ordered the Jerk Caesar Salad w/Avocado and Mocha Latte Shake. Everything was Awesome and fresh! Ironically, this was my first visit to any HipCityVeg and there is one close to me in DC. I just happened to be in Philly and looking for a vegan spot. I will definitely visit the one in DC, often!

First time vegan eater! Honestly would not know my fried "chicken" sandwich was not meat! The patty had a crunchy outside w the inside as tender & moist as Chick fil a's. The Jerk Chicken Caesar salad had great texture & heat. Again, who would've known the chicken was actually made of veggies. I might just do this again.

That breaded chicken sandwich is everything!! If you find it to be on the dryer side, just ask for extra ranch and you're good to go. And the coffee milkshakes are out of this world. This place has the creamiest and thickest vegan milkshakes I've ever had. So good! It's usually pretty busy, but the crew works fast to get this delicious food out and the staff is usually very friendly. Beware, this is not diet food. This is juicy, fatty, vegan comfort food!
