“When we arrived we were asked if we wanted a window seat. The service was pleasant and quick. The food came out quickly, piping hot, and was delicious. The prices were very reasonable.”

“This is a fantastic wing place for those of you just passing through. We were driving through this area while on a trip and we found this wing place. We decided to stop in and eat to wait out the snow storm we were driving through. We ordered a ton of wings and got a bunch of different flavors here for a fair price. (wing places tend to be kinda pricey usually) The wings were great, all the employees were friendly and helpful, and this was definitely a good stop to avoid a snow storm. We'll be stopping back here if we are ever in the area again!”

“Traveling through decided to pull off to find a quick pizza slice deal. Nice little place not to far off the exit. Five bucks for 2 slices and a drink, can't beat that! Friendly staff could tell we were unfamiliar with the place took our order, told us to have a seat, brought everything to us quickly. Pizza was very good and we were back on the road in no time.”

“The atmosphere is nice. They had a live piano player taking requests. The service was friendly. I think our server was newish but they were very nice. The menu is good. A lot of choices. One weird thing was that they had no seltzer water. Also the two drinks that my girlfriend got were first very weak and then really strong. The side salad was just mixed greens with some tomato and a balsamic vinaigrette. The bread was pretty good with the garlic butter. They had an issue in the kitchen I guess and things took a little longer than expected. I get it things happen and we didn't really mind. They were very nice about this as well. My entree was good. I liked the sauce and the shrimp and crabmeat but the veggies weren't good. My girlfriend had a steak that came with the same veggies. Steak was okay and the veggies were not. One thing I was a little confused about was the lack of gluten free options. I know that an Italian place isn't exactly going to be gluten free friendly. We only had one choice though. Off the whole menu. It was just a little surprising. Overall I think this place is pretty good. The old bank atmosphere is cool. The piano player was really nice and our waitress was too. I just think we may have come on an off night.”

“As someone with a lot of allergies, I don't usually find restaurants where I have options (especially outside of major cities) — but at Whetstone I eat well. Chef Geoff is thoughtful about the ingredients he uses and keeps his food true to flavor. ???? I got the quinoa hummus bowl with sweet potatoes and my bf got a sausage omelette. Gluten free and vegan dishes are labeled on the menu, but if you're an omnivore they have meat dishes as well. A must-visit if you live in the area.”

“Service is fantastic - staff is always friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere (especially when the outside is open and we can bring our dog, Ollie!) Bongo dip appetizer is to die for. Beer selection is standard but it seems they have a lot of unique mixed drinks to choose from! Overall, we love this place!!!”

“Strong brewery. Great beer with a unique atmosphere. It's a walk from our apartment and they are dog friendly (outside patio with heaters). Would have given 5 stars BUT every time my fiance and I go here we are never greeted with anything other than "you both have your IDs?" I'm fine with showing my ID, but a "hello, how are you guys?" would be more welcoming. Overall, our dog highly recommends!”

“Great food subs are enormous. The only reason for the 4 star review is the fact that it now is under new ownership and the food just isn't the same and the servings are smaller now. The food is still great don't get me wrong and it's well worth checking out its just not as good in my opinion as it was under the previous owners.”

“The place looked great. The service was good. The food was good. The sushi was very good and was displayed well. The hibachi steak was good. There was a bit too much pepper on the rice for my taste, but I can see others enjoying it. All in all, I'd go back if I had a hankering for Japanese.”
