“My sister and brother in law have been in RI for almost 2 weeks and are leaving to go back home to Vegas tomorrow so we all got together for a family night out at the Common Pub. I'm the only one who has never been here before and was pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent and everyone was very pleasant! There was a mix up with my meal and I didn't receive it until everyone was finished eating. The waiter was very apologetic and when it finally arrived it was well worth the wait! I had the shrimp, little necks and scallops with the clear white sauce over spaghetti. It was absolutely delicious! The potion was huge and it had 6 or 7 extra large shrimp, the same number of little necks and about 4 large scallops. I'm taking half of it home and will enjoy it another day! Even with the mix up I still think this place deserves 5 stars...no one is perfect..and it happens! The food was delicious, the prices and service were excellent and everyone had a wonderful time! I would definitely return and also recommend this place to everyone !”

“The monkey bread French toast is awesome. It's a little small and cramped but the food is good, the price is good, and everyone is so chill. Between the random mugs you get your coffee in to the hundreds of pictures of old friends on the wall, it feels like hanging out at a family reunion. Also, cash only!”

“I gave three stars only because of our nice waitress, Courtney. We didn't like our food that much. The pan seared scallops were tasty and so was their chowder. Other than that nothing was worth raving about. Their chowder is thin but filled with potatoes and clams. We don't care to return here even though Courtney was so pleasant. She didn't prepare the meals.”

“First: the food is consistantly excellent In 20 years as a regular we just love the food. The blue cheese dressing is made in house and is the best in the world. It should be bottled and sold. The location can't be beat. Right on the harbor looking out over all the sail boats. Fine inside or out on the patch in the summer , just great. Inside they completed a makeover with all new furniture, walls,carpets, everything and it is nice! All they need to do is fix the player piano that broke about 10 years ago. I have been bugging Steve, the owner, for all that time to fix it. We used to enjoy the piano music during dinner in the winter months with the fireplace roaring. But seriously, wonderful place even without the piano. Also, there is very little turnover of waiter/ waitresses and they are all fantastic. Bar. Tender Sandra makes a great. One of the best restaurants anywhere and in a beautiful spot In the great town of Bristol. GO THERE!”

“Highly recommend. First time visit and found a clean, well run restaurant, with friendly staff. Note there is parking in the rear. A focused menu offers seafood selections a cut above the typical. But, the oysters alone are worth the trip: fresh and expertly shucked. My wife has special dietary needs and the chef was available to answer questions. Enjoyed the pork and scallop plate, and the corn and scallop chowder that featured light and tasty flavors. Both scallops and pork were cooked to perfection. The chowder had a large scallop that left no doubt it was “Scallop and Corn”. Wife loved the huge veggie plate. All food was fresh and prepared by people who care about what they are doing. Both server and support staff were attentive. Will visit again!”

“The Lobster Pot is one of my favorite restaurants in Rhode Island. Its location, right on the waterfront of a small cove in Narragansett Bay, is absolutely gorgeous. The cove typically has a few boats and sailboats moored about 50 to 100 yards from the restaurant creating a beautiful and scenic backdrop to watch the sunset as you enjoy your meal. The food is good. The seafood is of excellent quality. Its namesake lobster dishes are fresh and well prepared. Its wine list requires a little bit of work, but it has a few good options you can select from. The service staff is nice, friendly, and helpful. Prices are affordable.”

“Quaint little Italian restaurant in the heart of Bristol served us excellent clam chowder and tiramisu. The shrimp scampi over angel hair pasta was good. The Italian bread could have been fresher and the Side salads were okay. Our server was friendly. All in all, it was a nice experience.”
