(June 23, 2019, 8:54 pm)First time in Newport for the weekend, from New York City. Being vegan, thought it was going to be difficult finding a place to eat. Look no further than Root - the only vegan place in town, and it was fantastic. Don’t even have to be vegan to enjoy their filling and delicious food. Being from NYC and having endless options, I have to say this is one of my favorite vegan places to eat. I got the Greek goddess and the smashed white bean toast - simply delicious! And the people that work there were super! I’ll definitely be back again!
