The best of the best in Providence’s Federal Hill.. Italian to a tee. The best sauce, bread, spumoni, soup. You can have a 7 course meal starting at $20. And up..
The setting is elegant, though you can bring a family.. Pink is the color with elegant cloths and napkins.. Staff is professionally dressed and been there forever .. Valet parking.. Reservations suggested on weekends.. Fine to walk in before 5. One of the oldest restaurants on the Hill.
Fantastic food! We went on a weekend (I would highly recommend a reservation unless you are eating at 3pm) and were pleasantly surprised. Real Italian food served in a way that makes you feel like you're at grandmas. They offer a 4 course meal for $2 extra on your entree - bread, salad or soup, your chosen entree, and ice cream or jello. This is the kind of restaurant I remember going to as a kid (I'm only 23) and I wish more places were still like this. I got the veal piccata and oh my I wanted to swim in that lemon butter sauce.
Very reasonably priced for lunch. We enjoyed the lunch special which comes with soup and jello or ice cream. Chicken parm was of good quality. Valet parking is a nice touch in the area. Family friendly and very busy for an early lunch on a Saturday
One of the most exclusive, classiest & exquisite Italian restaurants available in New England.
Chef Peter is an amazing & a gifted chef. Greeted by class-act maitre d’ David & treated w/ attentive grace. I have dined in places all over the United States.. Waiter: Jay is simply one of the best.. extensive knowledge of the menu, refined & classy.
A restaurant of Excellence -my highest recommendation - indeed!
Just a great old school Italian restaurant located on historic Federal Hill in Providence, RI. The service is excellent, the food is delicious and for such a fine dining establishment, the prices are more then fair. We had a 7 course meal, my main dish was the t-bone veal chop "alla frank". It was great...
Go and try it, you won't be disappointed.
It's an institution on Federal Hill and in RI in general...
