Blake's has some of the best tavern food in town! I absolutely love their Thanksgiving sandwich. I've never had a bad experience here with any of the food. It's always really tasty no matter what I've gotten. Their prices are extremely fair and well worth it. They give you some pretty big portions to. They have a great drink and beer selection as well.

The food is absolutely delicious! Our waiter was so nice, personable, fun and attentive! We loved the place so much we went back to nights in a row!

We were there to watch a show @ providence performance center on a Saturday night, and were trying to grab a quick bite before the show. This was what we could find that still has table available, and it’s just a short walking distance from the theater.

Place doesn’t look very busy when we got there (around 6:30pm), and we were told to help ourselves to any open table(quite a few of them!) once we were in the restaurant section.
The service is just alright, but the food is super fresh!

We tried the fried calamari for appetizer and it was very tender, juicy, and crispy! Highly recommended if you are a big calamari fan!

Then we each have a steak for dinner. I had my streak made teriyaki style, it was prepared along with some nice caramelized onion, good flavor, and not too salty. You can also ask a salad with your meal for $3 more, and we did! What a great decision, the salad is very refreshing and since I had my dressing on the side, I can say for sure the salad is really fresh!

Bottom line , would consider going back again, for food, if in the neighborhood.... ; but would be hesitated, if recommend it to people who has more consideration on services of an establishment.
