Phil's Restaurant

The food was good. The service for the day after independence day was sub par, could have been managed better but was still overall a good time

My wife and I loved this place. We went to fancy restaurants on our trip and tacked this place on the end because we didn't know where else to go, Phil's wound up being the best place we ate. The french toast was very good but the pear salad with salmon was outstanding. We would get that again every single time.

When I first moved to Wakefield in the early 60's Phil's was in a run down building on Robinson Ave. It now is part of a thriving downtown Wakefield,. The menu and food are up there. A small caution, The first level is constantly a buzz. The second level is much more conducive to conversation. If the deck is open, I highly recommend it!

The rooftop dining here is the best! Phil's boasts an eclectic menu with all sorts of creative options for both breakfast and lunch options. The staff here attends their customers with extreme care, and our server, one of the students at the local college, had a great sense of humor. The portions here fall squarely in the healthy, and the bloody Marys here aspire to greatness. Check it out if you're in downtown Wakefield!

I love Phil's! I tend to order the same thing everytime I eat lunch there, but recently I decided to branch out and order something new for lunch. So far my new favorites are the California Chicken Wrap and the Vegan Chili. The staff is very friendly and top-notch.
