“I went for a fundraiser NOT because I wanted to be in a cigar bar. Since it had 2 floors I feel a little consideration for the non smokers at least when the food was being served on the second floor. I left after a half hour The place was beautiful and the staff was great but to much smoke with the Manger himself was smoking while working and while he was helping with the food being served”

“I enjoyed my time at 148 this was my 4th time there and the other times that I went I wasn't too fond of it. It could be because of the time that I was there, this time was at about 6pm when the other times was about 9pm or later. This place is small and a lot of people show up and in my opinion it's too crowded. So at this time I was able to hear the conversation I was having with the lady and enjoy a nice steak n cheese sandwich and drink.”

“We went to Federal Hill and the wait was too long. The valet told us to check out Cranston and we headed up here. My girlfriend wanted to leave as the music was a little louder than we were hoping. With that said I’m SO glad we stayed. The food was amazing! The staff was excellent, attentive and polite. Everything that came out of the kitchen had me wishing I’d ordered it. Definitely worth checking out.”

“Had a quick lunch here and it was absolutely fantastic. Came out with chips and a tasty salsa as soon as we sat down. We both got burritos and they were what you want in a burrito. Service was excellent, as well. Don't make a mistake and drive past this little gem. Highly recommend!”

“Casual place. Huge portions. Grilled cheese burger - the grilled cheese portion was excellent and flavorful. But the hamburger portion was not seasoned. Sweet potato fries were crispy. I hated the crab-stuffed shrimp but my friend like them. Window seat was pleasant (near the patio) and fireplace in the back was cozy. I see areas for improvement. But generally OK place.”

“This place used to have quite the reputation but it has cleaned up alot. They offer pool, karoake, have a DJ multiple days a week and their drink prices are more than reasonable. I definitely recommend everyone give it a chance in the future. I'd give it five stars if it had food options but on the plus side they do let you bring outside food in.”

“We had just come from my grandmother's wake, so we were tired and hungry. The staff seated us right away, and brought us rounds of waters and various drinks--much needed. Our waitress, Nicole, was lovely. It was her first night, and we were her first large party. She took her time and made sure she had everything correct. She joked with us and really gave our night the happy ending it needed. Well done!”
