“Very nice lounge. We stopped here after having dinner next door at Cook and Dagger (excellent food). Cedar Spill is an upscale cigar lounge. Really good craft cocktails and an extensive list of tequilas, scotch, bourbons, etc. I am not a cigar afficionado but I can say that there were a good amount of people in there enjoying cigars. Good air filtration too because the cigar smell was not overpowering. It is tastefully decorated and cozy inside. Great place to stop in for a drink/cigar with a light food menu as well. Service was great and the owner was walking around making sure everyone was being taken care of. Check it out for yourself.”

“My fiancé and I stopped in after touring a nearby wedding venue. Neither one of us had been to Circe before and we will be back again, that is for certain! Jessica was our waitress and she took awesome care of us. The drinks were good. The oysters were delicious as well. But dinner was a knockout... they had a salmon special the night we were there (Tuesday night) and it was served over a bed of lobster mashed potatoes (huge chunks of knuckles and claws) and spinach, and to top it off were two of the best poached shrimp of my life. We were blown away by the taste/quality of the meal. I would recommend to anyone in down city Providence!”

“It's a great place for wedding parties. Pretty sure I saw five bachelorette parties with their sashes and tiara's. Most of the music was geared towards them. The majority of the patrons were female, white, blond and in wedding parties. Would be cool if they played reggae music as advertised and had more diversity in their customers, and music offered. Oh! FYI! They have a $20 drink minimum if you pay by card, most were $11 each.. and a $10 cover. My sister didn't like the place to celebrate her birthday and we bounced after an hour. All the women were dressed up in really cute dresses and glammed up, the guys were in jeans and baseball hats. Next weekend we will hit up a few lesbian bars in Providence. Would I go back, sure! I loved to people watch and this guy almost puked on this girl...epic. Lots of people who can't hold their liquor and definitely not enough seating.”

“Being in the water and watching the sunset was wonderful. We had the lobster roll, stuffed shrimp, and the fried calamari. It was all excellent. The lobster roll was probably the best that I’ve had. I also enjoyed the cool as a cucumber drink. Refreshing. The meal was not cheap; so don’t come when you’re on a tight budget. I tend to prefer little hole in the wall restaurants because i don’t commonly feel that my meals are worth the price at more expensive restaurants. This was an exception. I feel that the environment, service, and quality of food all were all worth the price we paid.”

“BEST clam chowder ever - and I've had a few. Eric makes a better one than I can make myself and it definitely tops the first one I ever had which was in Nantucket...and that was supreme. I'd love to give a full 5 stars but the bar is a bit of a dive (and I am sure they would admit that), the toilets are a bit scary, seats are torn etc etc but so welcoming, so friendly, fair prices and Eric is not only a good chowder maker, but he is quite the character too!”
