“One of the better sushi places in Providence in my opinion. It’s a little pricey, but the interior is really nice and the sushi is great. Unfortunately I can’t really say the same about the rest of their menu. I came for restaurant week and I ordered a salmon dish for my entree and it was pretty underwhelming. Luckily my sushi appetizer was delicious and the dessert was good, so overall it was a good experience. If you’re looking for sushi, check it out, but if you’re going to order something else I’d say there are better places.”

Her style, personality, demeanor, timing, menu suggestions, fun-facts and humorous anecdotes... all perfect. The food was truly memorable. Too many Tapas items were ordered to list them all, but each one was delicious and beautifully prepared and presented. The cocktails were expertly crafted and truly amazing. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Beautiful wooden interior with lovely details on the walls, light fixtures, etc. As far as Covid protocols, they get an A+ We highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. Be sure to ask for Sophia. “We only dine outdoors and Cafe Nuovo is a perfect outdoor ambience. We sad next to the canal, with a heat lamp nearby. Shrimp and calamari appetizer was delicious as was all our entrees. Our server wore a mask properly at all times. For entrees, we had the lamb shank, braised rib and stuffed rigatoni. Everything was delicious.”
