“My wife and I have had two meals at Los Tres Compadres. It is officially our new favorite Mexican restaurant. First off, we have met the three owners and they are friendly and personable young men. Second, the food is excellent. It is made from fresh ingredients, carefully prepared and served piping hot. The atmosphere is very nice with a true Mexican ambiance. Although it is not quiet it isn't noisy either, unlike many Mexican restaurants. It's actually a good place to have a conversation. Finally, the prices are reasonable.”

“A underrated gem. New in town. Small menu but plenty of choices. Clean establishment and friendly staff. Food was made to order and seemed prepared well. I ordered a Cheeseburger with Fries all the way. Both were pretty good. I'm not positive the burger was fresh ground chuck but I can forgive that, and I didn't ask. All the ingredients were fresh and had a good taste. Lettuce crisp. Generous onion and tomato slice and finished with ketchup and tomato. The standout of the meal were the side of fries. I have been to a lot of places in the area and this was one of the first I've been to in which the owner prepared the fries from fresh potatoes. You could tell they were not made from frozen fries but were fresh cut. I will say I prefer my fries a bit more "crunchy" but overall thats a minor complaint. Fries were generous, well cooked, and seasoned mildly. So stop on by and quit driving past people!”

“Stumbled upon this hidden gem while searching for a new place to eat and was not disappointed. I was drawn in by seeing a unique menu that featured bison, kangaroo, gator, and boar. I started out with the wild boar stew and my ony disappointment is I ordered too small a portion. It was hearty and I used the bread to clean the bowl of the broth. No photos of it because it disappeared before I thought about taking a picture. My girlfriend had the Matt Dillon Chicken Sandwich, and I was gifted a fry, and they were awesome so I can assume the same of the sandwich. I had the Mojave Sampler, which featured the main samplers on their menu, and the price and portions are definitely filling for a sampler plate. Overall, great place and i will definitely return.”

“First of all I must say the staff from the time we walked in was very friendly. Our waitress took very good care of us. Kept our drinks full at all times. She is one that you don’t have to look for something. The bartender could make anything you asked for and friendly as well. The food we had ordered the scallops, Cuban sandwich, steamed shrimp, and a shrimp roll.all was outstanding. If your not an oyster fan the oysters they prepared was delicious. “The epitome of southern seafood....exactly, spot on, 100% perfect. Seafood fried to a light airy perfection, seasoned perfectly, and cooked, served and sold by the nicest people you could ever ask to meet. I just relocated to the area after being away for 12 of the last 14 years, living and working abroad and the western half of the US and I was afraid the old adage about never being able to go home would proved true....but Mj's definitely put those fears to rest.....it is entirely possible to return home when home has folks like those at Mj's around! “This Circle K is very convenient location from my house and your can make a quick run to the store without having to run uptown. They carry most basic items in addition to everything from ice cream to propane fuel. I wish they were locally owned, I would stop there more often. You can also sign up for fuel rewards and receive discounts on per gallon fueling. The only issue I would have is that they can get so busy in the evenings that trying to maneuver through the parking lot or even find a place to park, it is only a couple of hours in the evening so other times are not so bad.”
