“If you’re looking for delicious food and great margaritas…. YOU HAVE FOUND IT! not to mention, service was great. I came in after seeing a post on facebook of Don Jose’s Grand opening and figured why not try it out? Let me tell you, I’m so happy I did. Me and my roommate were welcomed in and seated immediately, had our drink orders taken and we both ordered Margaritas, some options had chamoy and Tajin rims (if you haven’t had that before, definitely try it out) but the drinks we were set on didn’t come with it. So I asked and our waitress (I believe she said her name was Andrea?) and she informed us we could add it to any of the drinks. they were great. then it came to ordering our food and we asked our waitress what she would recommend, she pointed my roommate to a burrito and me to the Chez platter. my roommate was raving about his order and I can easily say the same for myself, I think the look of the dishes speaks for themselves. Overall, fantastic experience and i think i have found my new go-to for a Mexican restaurant!”

“Wow Wee, we enjoyed this place all around, great service and great food... it is located across from Fudruckers in Anderson off Clemson Blvd...the Brisket and Mac&Cheese Egg Roll totally suggest!!! Great flavor 😋... we had the Chef Salad and two people can share this, it is that BIG!!! TV's all around establishment.... open Bar to sit at, and tables... there are pool tables, Darts, and corn hole 🕳 available to play most everyday just ask abt it... there is a GIANT screen TV center back Wall!!! All can see for sure ... they accommodate large groups , call ahead or ask server to setup time and date , they are so kind here and really make a customer feel special... “Had a great time! Lindsay was our waitress and she did a phenomenal job. Food was good (fries came out cold but they replaced them). We both had Royale Burger and for our appetizer we had the Brussel Sprouts which were A+....Burgers are a little overpriced. Overall food was good, scene was nice (definitely doesn't feel like you're in Anderson). Would definitely go back again!”

“Rented a pontoon today with family. Six adults, a teenager, a first grader & a large dog. We were all comfortable. Boat ran well. We did some fishing & some exploring. The marina also offers RV camping, full hook-up or electric/water. The marina store was well-stocked, but overpriced, as would be expected. Boat rental was very reasonable, however. Restaurant was closed for the season. Lake was low, but honestly I enjoyed mostly having the lake to ourselves. Highly recommend!”

I think the cuisine is affordable and right on Par with the competition mere steps away. It will be a great addition to Pendleton. I can’t wait to sit roof top this summer.
