Island Shack cafe

Amazing place to eat and relax. Lots of food options that are a lot better then most mainstream restaurants. There is music and games for younger kids to play and shaded tables to sit at when it gets hot. I would highly recommend coming here if you are visiting the island. Great place 👍

Nice sitting under the trees. Husband liked his burger. My salad was okay.

The burgers were great quality although I have to admit they weren’t exactly my favorite “style” (they were a little on the thicker side and heavily seasoned). The service was awesome - friendly and helpful and though not near the ferry, the Island Shack Cafe was pretty easy to find. One final note - there is no inside seating, so if you expect rain, you may want to opt for the Crab Company, where there is lots of covered dining.

WOW! Just WOW is all I can say about our lunch yesterday at the Island Shack Cafe! We had the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos w/coleslaw and a side of onion rings and the Philly Cheese Steak, also with onion rings and everything was DE-LISH-US! JUST DELICIOUS!!! The food was incredible, the drinks were cold, the service was courteous and prompt and we went away all smiles! The music and outdoor space has a chillaxed inviting vibe and we LOVED IT! LOVED. IT! We'll be back today and tomorrow.....

Nice little place to grab lunch while visiting Daufuskie Island. Not the biggest menu but options for everyone. Seating under the live oak has a nice vibe. The crab cake wasn't the greatest but the fries were very good.
