“If I could give them a 4.5 stars I would because the food is great(snacks, Sammy’s, pizza, drinks) but the customer service could get a little better. They are kind of snobby but we are on Daniel Island with all the richies so that is expected. Lots of parking nearby with a river view, a kids playground and connecting bike/walking trails. I love their ice cream during the summers! I'm usually have my face pressed up against their glass door exactly at 5pm when the ice cream service starts. :-)”

“The place itself is gorgeous, and our food was pretty good. The Asian Fries as an appetizer were awesome. I had the turkey sandwich, and there was a ton of yum on a tiny bun. However, it was extremely hard to figure out what was on tap, since there are no paper menus for what's on tap, and the code you scan with your phone was a broken link. Our waitress tried to help out, but led off with a story about swapping out kegs and trying to cool off warm beer, and proceeded to list a bunch of beer that was NOT available as a result of non refrigerated kegs. Please have a working and accessible menu for what is on tap. It's a brewery, come on! I saw a set of big screen televisions that weren't on, and I thought a current list of what was on tap would be great to have on those screens. Or a chalkboard, or something. I think the AC was not able to keep up with its load, because it was very hot inside. Lots of potential and like I said, a gorgeous facility, but ordering a beer at a brewery shouldn't be this hard. Maybe just a bad night, and I'd be willing to try again, because the food I ordered was good.”

“I live down the street from here and there aren’t too many food options on this road so I was excited to see a taqueria open. I’ve been here a couple times now and the owners are super friendly, the service is fast, and the food is delicious. The decor and menu are nothing fancy, but these are definitely the most authentic tacos I’ve had in Charleston, and they are really delicious. I had a burrito and it was quite good as well. Everything tastes fresh and prices are very reasonable. Really recommend this place if you’re looking to support local businesses and have a more authentic taco experience.”

“Sermet’s Courtyard in Daniel Island is one of my favorite restaurants in all of the Charleston area. Everything on the menu is great and has so much flavor and depth to it that each bite is amazing and there is no wrong choice that is possible on the menu. I really like the laid back atmosphere at Sermet's as it feels like eating in a home rather than a restaurant. The art by Sermet and the music and lighting really add to the experience. The staff here is awesome and will truly go out there way to make sure that you have the best possible experience for your dinner. Everything about Sermet's Courtyard is amazing an exceeds expectations every time you visit and it is a given that you will feel full and happy when you leave.”

The interior furnishings are not your usual bland shopping center design, but rather a rich and ornate Chinese design. “Really nice location and set up. The interior and exterior of the restaurant is amazing. Before our meal came we were already thinking about coming back for our second visit based on the atmosphere alone. Unfortunately the food wasn't very good. We had the hummus appetizer that had so much seasoning we were unable to eat it without washing every bite down with a drink. The fish special tasted like it had been packed in salt and the chicken sandwich was just terrible. It made me wonder if there was someone new in the kitchen that didn't understand that seasonings should enhance the flavor of the meal rather than overwhelm and mask it. We may give it another shot based on the location and atmosphere. Maybe it was just a rough night in the kitchen. Enjoying a few drinks in the bar looked like a lot of fun, I just wouldn't suggest any of the menu items we tried.”
