“We were a little reluctant to try Gilligan’s because of some of the reviews, but we’re glad that we decided to go see for ourselves. The Bacon Wrapped Crab Stuffed Shrimp was possibly the best appetizer I’ve ever had. Who would’ve thought that you could combine three of my favorite things into one delicious morsel. The Shrimp and Flounder was also delicious and more than I could eat. The Mozzarella Sticks were also the best that we’ve ever had. My wife had the Grilled Chicken and it was cooked to perfection. The waitress (I don’t recall her name) was friendly and courteous. Although we were seated away from the rest of her section she didn’t forget about us. She makes a pretty good margarita, too. The manager came and checked on us and was polite and courteous as well. The location was great with a great view. Next time that we’re in Moncks Corner we’ll be visiting Gilligan’s again.”

“I come from San Jose, CA which is right next door to San Francisco which is where Chinese food as we know it came from. The Chinese immigrants came to SF and adjusted their home food to add wonder to our American culture. This place for being in a small town in SC didn't disappoint. It seems to be family owned and ran. The menu has a ton of great chooses. They need a website or online menu, but other than that it reminded me of a typical Chinese restaurant. Staff was some what friendly, but that's what I mostly get from these types of restaurants. Don't take it personal just get your food and go. I'm glad we found this place because we come here a few time a year from Charleston.”

“For me personally, I just have to say that I love Chic-fil-a!!! Their food tastes wonderful, their staff and employees are awesome!!! Especially the one in M.C. The only that I don’t like, or that bothers me, even though it tastes good, and I’ll still pay full price for it, is that their meal combos are more expensive than other chain type restaurants. The combo meal that I enjoy, and always buy, is almost $10.00 by itself. Other than that, it’s hands down my favorite chain type of restaurant.”
