Halls Chophouse Nexton (Summerville)

Went in based on the reviews. Great atmosphere; had a live band. Great service. Had a problem with the steak. Overly seasoned; had my colleague try it and also agreed. The management offered to bring out a new one but I was on a time limit and declined. They did not charge me for the steak; like I mentioned great service. I recommend you order your steak with no seasoning.

Halls is know for their impeccable Hospitality and this location certainly delivers that. Is it pricy? Yes but it is also very nice. Is the food the best on planet Earth, well that would be hard to judge but it is certainly on par with any other fine dinning steak house I have ever been to and I have been lucky enough to visit some very fine places in the US and several other countries and the food at Halls defiantly holds up. That being said I would say it gets 5 stars primarily for the atmosphere and service with the food being a close second.

Excellent evening. From the moment you park at the valet to the end of the evening went you get back into your car, it was perfect. The atmosphere is elegant and you can talk to your guests without overhearing anyone else. The waiters. Not one bit many bend over backwards to make your evening special. The food is so delicious that I will be coming back for more. Definitely want to dress for the evening next time.

They gave my wife and I the best dinning experience we have ever had. Everyone was so friendly and caring. The Waiters took the time to explain all the different cuts of meat to my wife. The food was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be returning soon.

BEST DATE NIGHT EVER

Came to Halls Chophouse for my first time after living in the Charleston area for 5 years. I must say I was very impressed. Our server Katie was very informative about the different tastes to each meat which led me to a well informed decision on getting the Tomahawk steak. It’s was cooked perfectly and exceeded my expectations! We also had the cream of corn and lobster Mac, highly recommend! I didn’t feel like the service was rushed either, it made for a relaxing night. Kudos to Halls Chophouse and to our server Katie who made our experience top notch!
