One of the best chili dogs I’ve ever had. Oyster selection on point. Great service, unique atmosphere, cocktails/beers also on point. One of our favorite new spots in Charleston.

Yuuuum! Unique, beautiful, and most importantly yummy drinks. Same for the food! Staff is super nice.

What a great addition to James Island and the Terrace Theater plaza!!! The cocktails were fabulous and the oysters and gazpacho were delish. We can’t wait to try everything on the menu. The inside was closed but looks amazing and patio is perfect for nice weather.

My girlfriend and I stopped by for drinks last night to check this new spot out. They have an awesome outdoor dining patio With candle lit tables. Their old fashioned is the best I’ve ever had. We went through 5 of their cocktails and they were all spot on. The Food menu looked great as well. Very personable staff. We will definitely be back for oysters and the piña dog!

I will allow the professionals to come write the dish reviews, but the food was incredible. The thought and talent that went into pairing the bar offerings with the menu really showed.

I found the Thai inspired bourbon cocktail to be a very pleasant surprise. Refreshing nuanced flavors in balance with the whisky and a perfect match for a hot Charleston afternoon. Other guests were equally delighted with their choice of beverage.

I sampled the menu for lunch. Charred escarole and one each of the hot dogs. Took most of the second dog home as they are very filling. Proper hot dog chili and a great dog and bun to start with. I ordered a half chicken to take home for dinner later and picked the bones clean it was so good!

Can't wait to go back and spend some quality time with the oysters and highball menu. All in all an excellent experience and looking forward to returning soon! Bar George is a great addition to the Riverland Terrace and Woodland Shores neighborhoods.
